Ultramel Scones.
Ingredients:
8 cups flour
250g margarine
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
7 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarb
2 cups sour milk
1 cup ultramel
2 eggs
Pinch salt
Method:
1. Sift dry ingredients together and rub in margarine. Must be cold margarine
2. Combine wet ingredients.
3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
4. Knead together. Not too much.
5. Roll out and rub with milk or egg
6. Cut and shape dough into favorable size
7. Bake at 180 degrees till golden brown.
