Lasagne with cheese sauce.

 


Lasagne

Ingredients for lasagne:

30ml oil 1 large onion

1ml garlic flakes

5ml chopped parsley 

500g mince meat

2 bayleaves

3ml sweet basil

2ml origanum

Salt n pepper for taste

1 tin tomato paste

1 tin tomato puree

250g Spinach noodles

Ingredients for cheese sauce:

80ml butter

75ml flour

625ml milk

1 small onion grated 

2ml salt and black pepper 

1 egg yolk

200 ml grated cheese.

Method for cheese sauce:

1.melt the butter at low heat, stir in the flour to

make a roux. Cook the roux for 1 minute

2. Gradually stir in the milk, add the onion and bring

to boil while stirring all the time

3. Allow the white sauce to boil for 2-3 minutes.

Add thr salt and pepper

4.allow the sauce to cool, then add the beaten egg yolk and grated cheese

MAIN METHOD:

1.heat oil and lightly sauté in it onion, garlic and parsley

2.add minc3, bay leaves, other flavorings, tomato paste and the puree

3.stir well and cook slowly until meat is just cooked (15 minutes)

4. In the meantime boil the noodles in salted water until tender and drain

5. Arrange the mince, noodles, cheese sauce in alternate layers in a baking dish. Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used up. Ending with a layer of cheese sauce.

6. Bake for 15 minutes then remove and sprinkle a little cheese on top and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes. In a hot oven 200°C.

7. Serve with any salad of choice
